Adventures In A Painted Landscape

I think you have hung your paintings wonky, and I am not impressed …

Today we woke to find the main road out of our valley was closed due to heavy snowfall overnight. I haven’t been snowed in since I was a child! Then, the by-pass running past our village was completely covered up and it was so still and quiet, it was magical. This time was was slightly less exciting as traffic could still escape, just about, via alternative slow and tiny roads, and people being as they are these days were determined to drive somewhere even though ice and slush were everywhere (and it was still snowing).

Even so, there was lots to look at! Today I wasn’t feeling very well and the light was in short supply so no artwork outdoors for me … just some photos. But tomorrow is forecast sunny and frosty so fingers crossed I might get out there!
